Data Availability Policy

The International Journal of Multidisciplinary Engineering Research and Technology (IJMERT) encourages transparency and reproducibility in research. Authors are encouraged to provide appropriate information about the availability of data, materials, software, codes and other resources that support the findings reported in their manuscripts.

Data Availability Statement

Where applicable, authors should include a statement describing how and where the data supporting their research can be accessed.

Depending on the nature of the research, the statement may indicate that the data are publicly available, available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request, available through a recognised repository, or subject to appropriate restrictions.

Research Data

Authors are encouraged to preserve research data in a reliable and appropriate repository where practical. Data should be organised and documented sufficiently to allow other researchers to understand and, where appropriate, reproduce the reported research.

Restricted or Confidential Data

Some research data may not be suitable for public release because of privacy, confidentiality, ethical, legal, security or other restrictions. In such cases, authors should explain the applicable restrictions and, where possible, indicate how qualified researchers may obtain access.

Responsibility of Authors

Authors are responsible for ensuring that any shared data comply with applicable ethical, legal, institutional and contractual requirements. Authors should not disclose confidential or personally identifiable information without appropriate permission or consent.

Supporting Materials

Where appropriate, authors may also provide supporting materials such as supplementary datasets, research codes, software, models, analytical procedures or other resources that support the published research.

Editorial Consideration

IJMERT may request clarification regarding the availability or provenance of research data when necessary to assess the transparency and integrity of a submitted manuscript.
