Corrections and Retractions
The International Journal of Multidisciplinary Engineering Research and Technology (IJMERT) is committed to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record. When significant errors, ethical concerns or other issues are identified in a published or submitted manuscript, the journal may take appropriate editorial action.
Corrections
A correction may be issued when an error in a published article affects the accuracy or clarity of the work but does not invalidate the main findings or conclusions.
Corrections may relate to factual information, author details, figures, tables, references or other published content. The nature of the correction will be clearly identified.
Retractions
An article may be retracted when there is substantial evidence that the published work contains serious errors, unreliable findings, research misconduct, plagiarism, duplicate publication or other circumstances that significantly affect the integrity or reliability of the article.
A retraction notice will explain the reason for the retraction and will be linked to the original article where appropriate. The original article will normally remain accessible with a clear indication that it has been retracted, in order to preserve the scholarly record.
Article Withdrawal Before Publication
Authors may request withdrawal of a manuscript before publication by contacting the editorial office and providing an appropriate reason.
Withdrawal requests after the review process has begun may require consideration by the editor. Authors should not submit the same manuscript to another journal while it remains under consideration by IJMERT.
Withdrawal for Ethical or Editorial Reasons
The journal may withdraw a manuscript before publication when serious concerns arise regarding plagiarism, research misconduct, duplicate submission, authorship, ethical approval, data integrity or other significant violations of journal policies.
Post Publication Concerns
Concerns regarding a published article may be brought to the attention of the editorial team. The journal will assess the available information and may request clarification or supporting evidence from the authors or relevant institutions where appropriate.
Editorial Responsibility
All decisions concerning corrections, retractions and withdrawals will be made carefully and in accordance with the journal's editorial policies and commitment to research integrity.
