Authorship Policy
The International Journal of Multidisciplinary Engineering Research and Technology (IJMERT) expects all authors to meet appropriate standards of authorship and to take responsibility for the work submitted for publication.
Authorship Criteria
Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made a substantial contribution to the conception or design of the research, acquisition or analysis of data, interpretation of results, or development of the manuscript.
Individuals who have contributed to the research but do not meet the criteria for authorship should be appropriately acknowledged rather than listed as authors.
Author Responsibilities
All listed authors must have made a meaningful contribution to the work and must approve the final version of the manuscript before submission.
All authors should agree to the submission of the manuscript to IJMERT and accept responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of their contributions.
Corresponding Author
The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the journal throughout the submission, peer review and publication process.
The corresponding author should ensure that all authors have approved the submitted manuscript and that the information provided to the journal is complete and accurate.
Changes in Authorship
Any request to add, remove or change the order of authors after submission should be communicated to the editorial team with a clear explanation and the agreement of all affected authors.
The journal may request written confirmation from all authors before approving a change in authorship.
Guest, Gift and Ghost Authorship
IJMERT does not support guest authorship, gift authorship or ghost authorship. Individuals who have not made a meaningful contribution to the research should not be listed as authors.
Acknowledgements
Individuals who have provided assistance but do not meet the criteria for authorship may be acknowledged with their permission.
Authors should also acknowledge appropriate institutional, technical, financial or other support received during the research.
